Love:Lavender

Today was a purple kind of day.

I have a fresh vase of lavender sitting on my desk and I bought a new MAC lip colour... well technically it's a lip and cheek colour called 'Evening Stroll'. I am very much in love with it and it is a moist consistency so it doesn't dry out your lips as other lipsticks sometimes do.
Here is me in the new lippy wearing a mauve blouse that once upon a time belonged to my Grandma.

I look super awkward in most of these photos, was having a weird, cannot pose properly, kind of hour. My mum snapped the last one of me while she was telling me about what she was going to get at the supermarket hence the thinking face. I ended up using it because it shows of the colour of the lipstick well.

While I was having a purple day I thought I may as well go all out and paint my nails too. The colour I used is from the Revlon range and is scented so it smells delicious like gum drops, which is probably why the colour is called 'gum drop'.
